In this final class, Jesús—our instructor (in fitness, not faith)—spent an hour shouting commands in Spanish, often in complete darkness, leaving us with absolutely no idea what was happening.     After incredible months soaking up the mountain air in Lake Tahoe, biking along Amsterdam’s canals, and beaching in Nantucket, we landed in the Big Apple for three exhilarating, exhausting, and entirely worth-it months. Fall was a perfect season to be in NYC, the city that never sleeps. NYC is woven into our DNA. It’s where we both moved after college, launched our careers, and met.
